This is a very sad sale as I have had a lot of great times in this bus going to multiple european shows over the past three years, its got me to and from them without any faults!



The bus was found in a scrap yard in California and imported by Graham at Midland Early Bay before i purchased it from him as a project.



With the suspension setup on this bus it will be one of the nicest lowered bays you will drive, everything has been lifted so it has great ground clearance.



Suspension:

7” Beam raise allowing the bus to be running almost near standard geometry

Late bay steering box conversion to give a more responsive drive and suffer with less wear

1.5” Raised Steering Box

Front Steering Arm Notches

Rear drive shaft and trailing arm notches

Stepped adjustable spring plates and horse shoe plates

Relocated trailing arm mounts to minimise rear camber

Front tubs that go into the doors allowing the bus to retain full lock on steering

Engine & Gearbox

1600tp Engine with electronic ignition

Beetle 1303s IRS gearbox with long final drive for higher cruising speeds

3” Engine And Gearbox raise

Front bench seat

Two rear bench seats with storage and a table

The rear setup all folds down to create a large bed that has slept five on a trip to Belgium

Head unit with two 6x9 speakers on an amplifier

Caravan Zig unit and 240v hookup

Eberspacher BN3 petrol heater that unfortunately has a running fault. It starts and warms up but cuts out



Exterior

Its had a respray in the past when in America that has worn through in places to give a nice patina

the roof is sunburnt by the Californian sun and has been treated with a good coat of Ankor Wax

The bus is totally solid underneath only needing a small amount of welding on the lower front valance its never bothered me but its best to mention it
