This is a rare classic VW 11 window Splitscreen LHD in original colour, This will be an ideal RESTORATION PROJECT for personal pleasure, wedding ,family bus or classic company bus, she is sound enough for her age and will need full restoration , there is no engine hatch, all the paperwork is ready for the new owner to register in their name, HMRC , customs duties and tax paid, DVLA- NOVA cert ,this will be a good project for a VW fanatic, this BUS is for project/ restoration, no engine , the gear box is present , it is complete, she is good for her age and she is still in her original paint, I personally bought the van in Africa.

It will require the usual lower panel replacements, however the main chassis is in very sound condition.

The upper body is in generally reasonable condition with some rust, but the bus does need the usual lower 6" bottom skirt work. The main chassis rails are good, and the I-beams look solid, but it needs the usual outriggers, jacking points, inner & outer sills, rear corners, battery trays, floors and o/s & rear roof gutter, etc. All of this is obviously available off the shelf in the UK from Schofields, AutoCraft, etc

Great patina and dated African "mad hatter" logo's (could be a great name for the bus!).
