Je me sépare de mon Type 3 Variant 1500 S de 1965, importé de Californie en 2018.

Un véhicule très sain, sans aucun défaut structurel. Sa patine d’origine lui donne un charme unique et authentique.

L’intérieur a été entièrement refait il y a trois ans : tout est neuf.
Tapis, selerie, Volant Nardi, levier Berg, compte-tours et manomètres Autometer.

Le moteur d’origine a été reconditionné aux États-Unis et passé en 1641 cm³. Une grosse révision à été faite en 2022. J’y ai également adapté une paire de carburateurs Weber 40 sur un kit CB Performance, alternateur empi, carter supplémentaire CB Perf et échappement 4/1 inox (avec bouchon lambda).

La mécanique à été révisée de A à Z en 2021.
Jantes Speedmaster, pneus neufs, kit frein à disque.

Le variant est equipé d’une galerie de toit US. Option d’origine VW destiné au marché américain à l’époque.

Ce variant très confortable et parfaitement fiable.
Elle roule sans aucun souci, prête à parcourir toutes les distances.

Je fournis pas mal de doc, factures et historique.
Nombreuses pièces d’origine incluses : carburateurs complets, jantes, volant, levier de vitesse, etc.

US Variant – Original paint (OG paint)

I am selling my 1965 Type 3 Variant 1500 S, imported from California in 2018.

A very sound vehicle with no structural defects. Its original patina gives it a unique and authentic charm.

The interior was completely redone three years ago: everything is new.
Carpets, upholstery, Nardi steering wheel, Berg gear lever, Autometer rev counter and gauges.

The original engine was reconditioned in the United States and converted to 1641 cc. A major overhaul was carried out in 2022. I also fitted a pair of Weber 40 carburettors on a CB Performance kit, an Empi alternator, an additional CB Perf sump and a 4/1 stainless steel exhaust (with lambda cap).

The mechanics were overhauled from top to bottom in 2021.
Speedmaster rims, new tyres, disc brake kit.

The Variant is equipped with a US roof rack. This was an original VW option for the American market at the time.

This Variant is very comfortable and perfectly reliable.
It runs without any problems and is ready to cover any distance.

I provide a lot of documentation, invoices and history.
Many original parts included: complete carburettors, rims, steering wheel, gear lever, etc.
