VW T1 from 1959, made in Germany imported by Portugal in 1959. Due to portuguese import policies (in the 50s and 60s) all the VW T1 vans were imported as mod 211 and changed in the VW workshop in Odivelas, Portugal to be other types and have other paint colours. That's why the car has a serial number in the internal plate of a Bus Panel/safari but has the characteristics of a Kombi and is registered as a Kombi in Portugal.

The Van is in Lisbon, Portugal, Europe. All the transport costs and other costs are responsability of the buyer.

The original front blink lights are semaphore type (it rises from inside the car), but the former owner tried to make the car "more modern" and changed it by putting the fried egg type from the next model on the car, as well as changed the back lights (I guess, but I am not sure), but the front lights are original from glass.

The motor is running, the brakes system is working too and the electrical system is also working, as well as the steering. Some parts have some rust, but in general the metal plate seems good. The van was always inside a garage (last time that it did run on road was in 1983) and never was restored (except some mechanical repairs), it has the painting of 1959.

I got this car in 2016 and I was willing to restore it, but due to family problems (my parents became very old and dependent of my help, both are in wheelchairs and are living with me, I became their nurse at weekends). I will not have more free time to restore it, what I truly regret, but 1st family and cars 2sd. Due to this situation I am selling this car now.
