January 1953 zwitter
If you don’t know the history about zwitter then they were built for 6 months, basically a crossover car between the split window beetle and the newer oval design often referred to as an 'Oval Dash Split'. A Very rare car known by some as the holy grail of vws. This is a true survivor car in Extremely solid condition. Original numbers matching floor pan and gearbox, original channels, pans, still original paint on inner arches. 90% og paint, rear arches and valance replaced and painted to match. Lovely og herringbone interior. Still has Lots of its original zwitter only parts.
As you can see this is an Azure blue car with awesome patina/presence! I know this might not be everyone’s taste but this will only be original once!
Running a 4” narrowed lime bug beam, rebuilt KnL & drop spindles with a Porsche patten front disc brake set up (great stopping power). lime bug rear 3” drop spring plates & new rebuilt rear brakes with Porsche patten adaptors. 4.5” & 6” deep dish flat 4 Fuchs with Nankang tyres.

Rebuilt 30 horse engine with a speedwell super charger strapped to it ????. Nos Ampco engine oiler plumbed in running marvel oil.

No Chassis Or Body Modifications have been made to this car so it can be put back to standard easily!!

Also I may have access to the original front beam, an original month of manufacture correct 25hp case and lots of correct month of manufacture engine parts, at extra cost if the potential buyer wants to get closer to stock.....
