Chassis is original...as well the engine(1953) and the gear box(1953) are authentic... ...the most important of all is the color....VW equipped its cabrio kaefer vehicles with this color (maroon - L 55) for 2 years:1953-54....only 16 units out of 1,300 units(ttl cabrio production).
