Prodajа - Volkswagen T1 Panel 1959 – Award-winning restored bus

This award-winning Volkswagen T1 Panel from 1959 was completely restored between 2011 and 2014. During this restoration, various sheet metal parts were replaced, with photo documentation available for inspection. The bottom was treated with an armor coating in the color Concrete Gray. The exterior was completely sanded down to bare metal, welds were tinned, and the bus was provided with a zinc-epoxy layer. It was then sprayed in the original color L53 Sealingwax Red, finished with several layers of clear lacquer. No expense was spared on the spray work – few T1 Panel buses are in such a neat condition.

Technical specifications:

• Body & paint: L53 Sealingwax Red, sprayed straight and professionally.

• Front axle & brakes: New front axle with grid plates, narrowed by 4 mm (Volksprojects). CSP disc brakes in the front with CSP 356 master cylinder (without brake booster). Original track width retained by narrowed axle in combination with disc brakes. Lowered spindles (Volksprojects).

• Steering: Rack & Pinion steering (Rusty’s RST1).

• Electrical: Completely new wiring harness (VWlooms), indicator relay with indicators in headlights, flashing turn signals and taillights.

• Windows & interior: Safari windows (Creative Engineering), throttle upgrade (ButtysBits). Interior completely finished with dark stained wood.

• Engine & Drive:
o 1776CC engine (2022, 80+ hp, Dyno test demonstrable) – Self-built based on HR Engineering parts, Oldspeed look (H-filter not connected).
o Ahnendorp VW T1 Bus Stainless Exhaust.
o 123 ignition with Bluetooth.
o External oil cooler with extra filter and pressed hydraulic lines. Oil temperature gauge (VDO).
o Straight Axle Kit (Volksprojects).
o Gearbox with longer 4th gear (HR Engineering, 2022).
o Blazecut fire extinguishing system for extra safety.

• Roof rack: Original Bekowa roof rack, re-galvanized (accessories on the roof rack not included in the sale).

• Extras: Self-built spice rack in the loading door on the left, modern radio with speakers in the cabinet, extra T-Ford horn.

Other configurations are possible in consultation. If the bus is not sold, it will be returned to and sold in original setup, without performance parts and lowering.
