The Volkswagen T1 Barndoor bus from 1954 is now with us. ????????????????

The T1 split bus from the first series owes its nickname to the large rear / engine hatch (also called a barn door).
After more than 60 years in the field on a small island in Sweden, we can take a closer look????
Yes, we are not shocked by it, but mother nature has done her best in these decades outside in all weather conditions ????❄

It is important that the chassis number and type of plate are still present????
The icing on the cake is also a copy of the registration papers from the old state archives! Naturally this corresponds to the VIN number and old license plates.????

Many of these buses that have been found over the past 20 years can now be seen again at the well-known Barndoor events and other shows, each with their own unique story.

We are looking for someone who will also restore this bus to its original state and preferably with its unique patina so that this bus will also appear on public roads again????
